Question Visitor from Ireland looking for advice on New Build

Hello Gang.

Well after lurking around here for a time i have decided to try my hand at building my next Computer.
In the past iv upgraded my graphics card, had to replace a HD after it failed and done some general tidying up inside the case
so im not a total noob when it comes to the inside of the box

I will be using the New Computer for the usual general everyday stuff, internet,
Email, some graphics work and im a casual gamer,
EDIT Should also mention i get to bring my work home with me so there will be some monster spreadsheet use and a fair amount of Database use
I have a year old Dell flat screen 1600 x 1200 so im looking for a card that will run games in that rez ok....

IMHO, if you are going to be using it for gaming I suggest going with an AMD Dualcore, they run cooler than Intel's.

It really looks like you're building more computer than you actually need. I mean everything looks compatible and will build up nicely, but for what you want to use the computer for it's way overbuilt.

Nothing obvious.

If stability is important to you forget about overclocking. Besides, you're building a monster system that is just way more powerful than you really need...it's gonna knock your socks off for a long time to come.

It looks like the Quad Core processors are supported by that motherboard and since the Q6600 is one of the first available I imagine it's supported already (don't see why not).
