Couple suggestions for you.

First, you DVD Burner does not come with software, and its IDE. Swap it out for a SATA Retail unit, they come with software.

I recommend switching to a non-SLI motherboard, your 8800GTX will play any game out there for sometime to come. Plus that eVGA board has had some stability issues in the past, that may or may not be solved. The Asus P5K is a solid choice: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131180 Also, if you drop SLI, you can save more with a different power supply.

Are you overclocking? If not, the RAM is overkill. You only need DDR2-667. You can easily switch down to DDR2-800 and still have some headroom for overclocking if you wanted later.

The E6850 is a nice chip, but I'd look at the Q6600. Quad core is much more future proof.

Looks compatible but ill let the experts pick it apart. A few points though.

Retail burners come with software so you might want retail instead of OEM for the burner.

New Mobo are really built around SATA so you might want SATA instead of IDE for the burner.

You might want to try on-board sound it is really quite good these days. You can always add a card later.

The after market cooler will void your CPU warrenty, if not OCing you might want to go with the one provided.

From what I hear you dont need 1066 ram unless you are OCing. The Mobo will just step it down to 677 or something.

If you are not going SLI from the get go, I would recommend against it as a upgrade path. The New 8900s have already been anounced and they will likely be better than two 8800s in SLI when they arrive. At least history has shown any new card is better then two older cards. So you might save a bit on the mobo and PSU now and just upgrade to the next generation card when you need too.

The PSU is overkill. That'd drive a much more demanding box than that. A Seasonic 500-700 box is likely plenty unless you want plenty of overhead or room for later growth.

If you really want 800 you might look at the Enermax Galaxy- very efficient.
