This is my second build that I have ever made and thought I would get a double check on everything. Its a gaming machine for my brother since I'm taking mine since I'm moving out, although I wish this was mine. At first I was going to build it with a tight budget, but realized I could extend the life and make it more reliable by going for a somewhat more expensive build. I intend for the computer to be easily overclockable when it becomes sluggish for games which Intel seems to be good for. I've got an extra keyboard and mouse that he can use. I did quite a bit of research on it and I think everything is very reliable and will work together well, but if someone knows something better that might fit in I would appreciate it as long as it doesn't raise the cost by a lot, otherwise I will be ordering it sometime tonight.

Everything looks pretty good, would change out the SamsungDVD for a Lite-On retail. Samsungs aren't the greatest when it comes to drives. Also, would double check to make sure that ram is on Gigabyte's list of compatable ram..

I changed the mushkins to Crucial Ballistix, cheaper (w/ rebate) and it says it compatible with the motherboard on Crucial's site. I couldn't find a similar feature on mushkins' site and a couple people said they had slight problems with the mushkins in a Gigabyte motherboard, but they didn't specify what model it was. Gigabyte's list of supported memory was pretty limited for some reason and barely has anything on it.

One thing I've learned from experience (already) is that the P35 will run any memory that you plug in. At least the ABIT IP35 PRO will. Crucial's as good as any.
Good luck with your build.
