Cmos checksum error?

Ok, so I got everything working on my new build and when I start it I get a cmos checksum error. I also get 2 beeps after it turns on any ideas what would do this? I tried removing the motherboard battery and resetting the cmos didnt do anything. I dont really know what would cause this or if its just because its new. Any help would be great

What motherboard brand/model?

Cmos checksum errors are *usually* due to the battery dying. Might try a new battery in it, but before that, go into your BIOS and make sure all the settings are right. Time, date, hard drive detection, everything. Then save and exit and let it reboot to see if it fixed the problem.
