drivers for new laptop...
Okay, long story short. My acer laptop died. It was under warranty, so i brought it back to CompUSA. Got a new hard drive (2 weeks later) and then my restore disks wouldn't work. They gave me a blank install of XP home. NO specific drivers for it. I have no ethernet, no wireless, no soundcard and etc. How can I use my home desktop to transfer those drivers? How can I look on my laptop to find out what exact drivers I need?
Very frustrated, Steve |

should be able to find the needed drivers on the Acer website and look for your exact model. Should be able to download them on a desktop PC and burn the drivers to a CD. Then load the drivers from the CD.
