Where do i buy my harddrive

I want to replace the hard drive on the computer that recently went black and said Hard drive error and now wont work..which site is the best and most economical to purchase this and which one should i buy?

mb?!?! i hope you mean GB and go with Seagate or Western digital, they are good.

Im now sure how big of a harddrive you need, look at your current usage and how much you might be adding in data.

No, its 250 GB (gigabyte) and get a Western Digital, its $75 for a 250GB.

I've used seagate HD for all of my systems and never had a problem. They don't have the "cool" factor that the WD do, but they are quality and I personally like them a bit more than WD.

Seagate also gets my vote. If you not in a hurry, Roxxxie, then you can wait for a local sale at Best Buy or similar places. I've often gone "retail" for the sale prices can often be lower then my favorite Newegg.com. Even Staples will have some unbelievable sale prices from tme to time.

If you don't find anything over the weekend you can try www.pricewatch.com to find the best prices on what you want. Just make sure to look at the details of the Hard Drive so you get exactly what you need. Also be sure to purchase from a reputable vendor, ie: Newegg, mWave, ZipZoomFly, TigerDirect...Good luck!
