I'm not familiar with AMD builds, but please don't use the power supply that comes with that case...it's made by L&C, one of the worst power supply manufacturer's on the planet. It's not a good quality unit. See this thread for power supply information.

just some input on the 8600 GT vid card. I was recommended this card by the PC mech guys:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814127286 and it works great for me. costs less and it overclocks without voiding the warranty. Mine is set at 650Mhz core and 1600Mhz memory without any problems. At one point it was set to 700mhz core - 1600mhz memory and ran without problems. when I set it to 701mhz it froze so i backed it down to 650 and it hasn't had a hiccup since.

Another video card choice.
Personally, I wouldn't use a XFX video card...their association with Pine/PC Chips makes me nervous. Cricket

Did you order a different power supply or are you using the one that comes with that XION case? L&C power supplies are cheap, low quality units that have been known to die suddenly and kill other computer components when they do.

I really hope you will get a different power supply.
I have the same case for a secondary rig. And let me tell you, the PSU in that is a joke. It gave me problems since the start, sometimes it even didn't have enough to juice to boot up. Thank heavens it didn't take any components with it. So I replaced it shortly after with a quality PSU from Corsair. Currently I am using the case with a new PSU as my home print/file server(this case is better than no case ) and it's doing it's job.
