I have a new case and I have put in a new motherboard, RAM, powersupply and Processor. It seems to power up but I get no video. The screen just stays black. But if I unplug the monitor cord it says check for signal and then I pluf it back in and it goes away which would make me think the video port is working. Any suggestions?

Yes, try what shadow posted. If you still can't get it to work, post back here.
If there was a problem with picking up the video card, the BIOS would beep while in the POST. Try plugigng in your monitor into a pc you know that works. it could be a problem with your monitor.

Do the out-of-case-troubleshooter that shadowpr provided a link to in his post. You must remove the motherboard from the case when doing this...you're trying to determine if the motherboard is shorting/grounding out to the case or not. Cricket
