Upgrading PC- Need new power supply?

Hey, I'm currently in the process of upgrading my computer. When I first built it, the specs were:

AMD Athlon 64 4800
1 GB RAM
70 GB HD
ATI Radeon X800 GTO
1 CD/DVD-RW drive

I have no clue what power supply I got because a friend of mine ordered my parts and he knew what to get. So far I have upgraded my motherboard, and got a new processor (Athlon 64 X2 5200). I just bought 2 GB's of RAM and I plan on upgrading my video card and installing a sound card. What kind of power supply will I need?

The amount of power you'll need will be very much dictated by the video card you'll eventually want it to power. Do you have any idea what card that will be?

To give you an idea, I'd trust almost any single video card on the market right now to this 520w Corsair unit:

There is a more powerful version available at 620w - this I'd only recommend for the most powerful single-video card systems.

yeah, It'll be a Radeon X1950 GT. I just popped open my case and discovered that I do, in fact, have a 500W power supply. I just used the eXtreme Power Supply Calculator and basically entered in all my specs with the addition of all the upgrades I am purchasing and the recommended PSU wattage was only 367 Watts. I played around with it and entered in more powerful video cards and the PSU never exceeded 500. Is this accurate information?
