new build

will this all work together?

Case: custom build aviation grade anodized aluminum (going with black)
PSU: thermaltake 1200w
Mobo: ASUS striker extreme
CPU: core 2 extreme qx6700
Cooling: asetek vapochill
Memory: 4x 1gb Kingston HyperX KHX6400
HDDs: 2 Hitachi Deskstar 7K1000s (they're faster than a raptor in practical use)
GPU: 2 BFG Water Cooled 8800 GTX
Monitors: 2 Viewsonic VX2245wm 22" widescreen monitors
Sound: Creative Gigaworks S750 7.1
I'm not worried about the cost. There's always someone who will buy it from me when I get bored and want to start a new project. (the last one sold for $12000)

For 4GB of memory, you'll need a 64bit OS.

I don't see any optical drives on the list, check out LiteOn SATA Burners that come with Nero.

Double check your PSU is this one: http://www.thermaltakeusa.com/produc...0133/w0133.asp since that is the one on Nvidia's list for dual 8800GTXs.

Looks like a screamer.

One thing to note about a Sli setup, you can't run 2 monitors. 2 video cards in Sli will only have one video output.
