Half build you could call it? Help!

Well I currently have a dell 4700 but I would like to change the case (if any of you have had a dell 4700 you would know just how freaking hot they are...)
I've been wanting to get this case,
http://cgi.ebay.ca/APEVIA-X-Dreamer-...QQcmdZViewItem
or : http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applicatio...989&CatId=1520

I was wondering if its possible to change the case of a dell, If the mobo would fit and such,

http://www.ascendtech.us/itemdesc.as...IM4700&eq=&Tp=
There's the mother board,

also if i got a new case I know i would have to replace the heat sink,

is the dell heat sink...

And would you be able to replace the psu in a dell? Or do you think you would have to stick with there's? (really would like to change it cause there's a few others things I'd like to add...)

If this is in the wrong forum please movie it since i never really knew where to place it.
(please don't tell me to buy from newegg either, They don't ship to canada )

technically you can change the case its in only thing that might be an issue is any front connections etc as Dell sometimes have their cases set up differently to most standard ones i think.

to add anything other than extra RAM you will need a new PSU, so check your Mboard specs for compatibility.

This mobo is ATX so yes it will fit in the case and yes you can use another psu (ATX) The only thing is dell may have different panel connections to the front

I'd recommend a different motherboard also. It would just make things alot easier and Dell's BIOSes are really watered down.

My suggestion is keep the DELL as it is and save up for a new computer you build yourself from the ground up.

I would really like to keep all the parts though (cpu/hd/ram) since it is a pretty good pc and works great for what I do.
I suppose I should just try phoning dell today and asking about it

thanks for all the help

Alright well I phoned dell today, they told me any sata power supply with atleast 305 watts will work in a 4700, but they wouldn't tell me if it would fit in any ATX case, (its confidential they said lol...) But I guess I'll trust some people on the internet who have said a 4700 will fit in any ATX case, And if it turns out it doesn't well I'll just save it heh.
