New Builder - Intel System not posting (No Signal)

I have tried everything on these forums including the tips from Hal9000. This thing actually POSTed once, but has yet to do it again. I have tested everything but the CPU and MoBo, and I suspect that it is either one of these parts are faulty or I have some sort of noob error.

My System:

CPU INTEL|C2Q Q6600 2.40G 775 8M R

DVD_BURN ASUS|DRW-1814BLT LS BLK

MB MSI P6N DIAMOND NF680I SLI 775

VGA EVGA 768-P2-N881-AR 8800ULTRA R

CASE FAN THERMALTAKE| A2029 RTL

PSU TAGAN|TG1100-U96 1100W

DVD-ROM ASUS|DVD-E616A3T SATA BG+BK

HD 500G|SAMG 7K 16M SATA2 HD501LJ

MEM 2Gx2|CORS TWIN2X4096-6400C5 G R

I would love to get this monster working. I have not done anything like this in a while and all i get is "No Signal" on each monitor or card I try.

when you tried the out of box setup, and you used only the bare minimum, did you hear any beeps?

what was different the one time it posted?

There were no beeps.

The one time it posted, I saw something on the screen about choosing the input device or something (was 5am not sure) then it shut itself down. I tried it again, the same way it was setup, and it didnt work... I have tried every combination with the mem sticks and card that I could think of.

I had to buy everything online so I would rather not wait for a replacement. Hope someone can think of something I did not.

Have you checked to be sure the heatsink/fan is correctly installed?
We've had several instances when it wasn't.

I have checked the heatsink many times, I believe it is positioned well. There was a point when it was not and the computer would restart itself. It will now stay on for as long as I leave it.

I'd suspect a defective motherboard before I thought the CPU was the problem. RMA the MSI.
