Question on case for new build

Greetings all,

I am in the process of selecting parts for a new PC build for my father. He will only use it for e-mail, a little internet surfing and the occasional flight simulator game. I am looking at one of the less-expensive cases out there and ran across this one:

Rosewill R604TBLK-N
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811147030

Has anyone had experience with this case and can give me their opinion on it? What really caught my eye was the PSU, it seems a little suspect. Whenever I see the word "light" used to describe a power supply, it throws up a red flag.

Thanks!

The case is probably fine...the power supply is not. You might want to look for a case without a power supply and get a good quality power supply separately.

Or you could look at Antec, Enlight, InWin, Cooler Master or Thermaltake cases as these come with good power supplies in them.

Thanks Cricket. After some more shopping, and realizing that a cheaper case will require the purchase of a PSU, I decided on the Anetc Sonata III. I used the Sonata II in my last build and was very happy with it. Solid PSU too!

I wouldn't go with any of the Power Supply Units that come with cases, especially when the case runs around $60 for the case and the power supply package, such as the one listed above, and for a decent PSU, your going to be paying at least $60 for.

As far as the second case that you listed, the Antec Sonata III, Antecs have very good cases, they have very good products all around for that matter; The power supply included also says its an Antec, so you'll be fine with that as well. good pick.
