vista/mouse

I'm posting this from my new computer only problem...there is no ps/2 mouse port and the adapter that I have doesn't seem to be working for the mouse....I have tested it with my ps/2 keyboard and it works fine their....is it just a driver thing?

What kind of mouse is it? Worst comes to worst you can probably pick up a cheap USB mouse for $5 or $10.

Try it with the adapter on another computer and see if it works there...

Could be the PS/2 to USB adapter is defective. You shouldn't need a driver to get the mouse to work, the generic one in Windows will work with any mouse...you only need the driver from the mouse manufacturer if the mouse has lots of buttons and special features.

Like blue60007 said, you might want to get a USB only mouse...or a wireless mouse.
