vista/mouse
I'm posting this from my new computer
 only problem...there is no ps/2 mouse port and the adapter that I have doesn't seem to be working for the mouse....I have tested it with my ps/2 keyboard and it works fine their....is it just a driver thing?

What kind of mouse is it? Worst comes to worst you can probably pick up a cheap USB mouse for $5 or $10.
Try it with the adapter on another computer and see if it works there...
