*Motherboard and video has the same link
How big is the budget for this build? Also are you planning on overclocking, or not? (If you are not then you do not need the aftermarket CPU cooler, the stock one provided will be fine) |

I'm not sure what kind of card you were planning to get, but since you're using this computer for gaming, I would go with the nVidia 8800 series. Those video cards are excellent for current and future gaming in my opinion..

Pretty good list. If you're not overclocking, skip the extra cooler. The one included with the CPU will be plenty.
I'd suggest getting a DVDRW and a DVDROM. Then you can burn and read CDs and DVDs. Keep the Asus, but switch to this LiteOn: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16827106072 Also, check out the Asus P5K motherboard. They are generally better quality then Gigabyte.
