Just built my first PC and the hardware appears to work. Set up BIOS just to get running. Loaded drivers from ASUS disk (including Realtek audio driver). Loaded Windows XP Pro. No sound. Went through hardware manager which reported no hardware problems. Went through Windows help diagnostics and found no errors. Downloaded latest RealTek drivers from ASUS website. Tried to uninstall loaded RealTek drivers but system wouldn't let me saying these drivers were necessary for boot up. Tried to update drivers from hardware manager but got an error when it tried to load the latest downloaded driver from ASUS. I'm stuck. Please help. Thanks.
