I am having the same exact issue with my first build
i'm using an intel DG965WH board with a 550 psu, coupled with an EVGA 7600GT PCI-E card, kingston 5400 DDR2 RAM, and a core 2 6450 2.13GHZ processor. i am not getting no video on my screen, yet the lcd light turns green when the system powers on, i have reaseated everything, took everything down to the bare mininum of cpu, video card and memory, still the same thing. this is the second board i have tried as my initial board was bad and was doing the same thing, i tried the psu in my current system and it works fine, everything spins and is connected like it should,, still can't get any video on the screen, even though the green light is on the screen. Any ideas? i do however get the proper beeps when i remove the ram and boot the system of 3 long beeps so it doesn't seem that the board is shorted out when the system is booted inside the case Last edited by wrayjl; 10-06-2007 at 10:53 PM. Ronark - Try a different ram stick. Failing that, try a new cpu.
wrayjl - Sounds like bad ram, try a different stick.

i have two sticks of ram and it does the same thing no matter which stick i have in it, both sticks are the same exact brand manufacturer and have been tested with the board for compatibility according to intel. i've tried one dimm in channel a dimm 0 and two dimms on channel a dimm 0 with the same results, again i figured if it was a memory issue the board would tell me when it posts and beep 3 times but i get nothing with one or the other or both. I figure the chances of both sticks or ram being bad are slim

What happens when you take the graphics card out and use the onboard graphics?

So when you took the graphics card out and put it in a working pc at your work, that pc no had monitor signal? In that case your graphics card is bad and you will need a replacement.

Dang, must have a nice boss. If I cracked the case on my computer at work I would probably be looking for a new job
. Then again, I doubt my computer at work could even handle my vid card .Kat
