Feel free to suggest new hardware, this is my first computer for "gaming" and this is what I came up with. Sort of on a budget but not really, looking for REASONABLE prices however if you have any suggestions please post. Thanks guys! i'll be purchasing this tonight based on your opinions here!

Why are you getting a micro-ATX motherboard with on-board video?

That RAM is over-kill. You can use DDR2 800 RAM instead with no loss of performance.

For gaming go with the NVidia video card. The EVGA 8800 series is preferred.

Please don't use bold type, it's hard to read.

Can you suggest a new motherboard? Can't find one that is good for gaming and has good reviews on newegg, and also the price.

cricket hit the main points.

don't forget PSU, HD, and optical drive.

also going to need OS, keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers.

for a gd MB try just the P5k: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131180

I agree with shadowpr with the motherboard, get the plain P5K and you will be set.

Also with the RAM it is overkill, like cricket mentioned - DDR2 800 RAM will be fine. Such as this.

Also for a graphics card, I recommend getting an 8800GTS.

And also like mentions above, don't forget the HDD, PSU and optical drive.

HDD: Seagat 7200.10 series 320GB
PSU: Corsair HX520 Watt
Optical: Lite-On DVDRW SATA drive
