No video on rebuild
I have recently replaced my old broken motherboard (asus p4sd-la) with the same model, except the new model has no onboard video like the old one had. So I bought a video card (geforce 6200 agp 8x) to supply the video. I also upgraded to a 500W psu. The system boots up to the best of my knowledge, however I am getting no video output. I think I need to set the bios to agp video, but I can't do this if I can't see whats going on. Any ideas or suggestions?

If you don't get a display on the screen, it could be anything, run through this guide:
http://forum.pcmech.com/showthread.php?t=132409 Be sure to make sure everything is connected up, also check for anything that could be causing a short circuit. If it still doesn't work then it's likely one of your parts is faulty. |
