First Build: OS
Well, I've got my computer all together, now I have to install the OS. I have a disc from a pre-built computer I bought that is titled "Reinstallation CD, Microsoft Windows XP Professional." It also says that I must use this CD to reinstall the OS on a Dell computer, I doubt that's true though. I'm not sure how different it would be if I were to use this instead of having to go buy a new OS, but I'm still wary on using it. Should I?

That copy is only for installation on a Dell machine. If you've built your own, you will need to buy a new copy of windows.
