Question Advice on new hardware. Would be appreciated thanks.

Hey, i've just recently decided to upgrade my system because my current system is getting a bit dated (being 5 years old), and so i've come here for a bit of advice.
I've looked around and have decided on the parts i can afford to put in at my budget, however i just needed some help as to whether or not these parts will be compatible together, and wont give me any problems.
I'm only upgrading my Mobo, processor, RAM and graphics card because i THINK thats all i need to upgrade lol (please correct me if i'm wrong). Here is a list of the parts, with a link to the website i'll be buying them from:

Asus M2N-SLi Deluxe (Socket AM2) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=MB-144-AS

Corsair 2GB DDR2 XMS2-6400C4 TwinX (2x1GB)
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=MY-108-CS

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 4800+ 2.50GHz (Socket AM2) - Retail
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=CP-201-AM

HIS ATI Radeon X1950 Pro ICEQ 3 V2 TURBO SILENT Heatpipe 512MB GDDR3 TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express)
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...-070-HT&tool=3

Thats everything i was thinking of buying...if you could please let me know if they would be compatible, and whether or not i'd need to purchase anything else, i'd greatly aprpeciate it.

Thanks again

Is your power supply suitable for that new video card and motherboard? If it's 5 years old I doubt it is. You need a 24 pin ATX 2.0 power supply.

YOu won't need a sound card because your motherboard has integrated sound and is pretty much all you need.

That Hiper PSU will be fine for your system. Hiper aren't too bad.

lol, great thanks. Yea a friend told me about overclockers a while back and i use em for every piece of hardware i get now
So, just to reiterate... am i right to assume then that if i get the things i listed and manage to install them all correctly that it will all work, and not cause me to get frustrated and start kicking things?
Thanks for all the help

The parts that you've picked are compatible. Whilst Hiper power supplies don't exactly have the best record in regard to quality, I'd trust those components to the one you picked. The 580w Type-R is somewhat prone to failing prematurely, but they tend to do so without damage to other components.
