Smile Antec Sonata II front panel power connection

There are 2 molex power connectors leading from the front panel, one is a female and one a male. I assume either of these connectors can be connected to the power supply, right? One has 2 wires leading to it and the other has 4 wires which includes the same 2 that are leading to the first connector. This is my first attempt at building my own machine and want to make sure I have it right!!

Molex connectors coming from the front of the case? I mean this might be right, but a recent build with the Sonata III I did all the leads just went straight to the mobo.. if this is the case then I can help you out, otherwise someone fair more knowledgable than me can help you out

I'm guessing thats coming from a fan at the front. If so, yes you can connect either of them.

That could be a pass-through power connector and they're both connected to the same fan. Just plug a 4 pin power connector from the power supply into the female side and ignore the male side.

I'll have to give myself a slap on the head, because the firewire and usb are connected to the mobo!!!! The 2 wires are leading from the spot where the front panel firewire and usb connections are located and I just assumed that connector might be for that. There is no front fan so maybe this connector is there in case you do mount one in back of the drive bays.
