having trouble with POST on a new build

I'm currently building a new computer: NZXT case, Intel C2D E6750, Inland 750W PSU, 4gb OCZ DDR2-800 ram, dual eVGA nVidia 8800GTS 320 Superclocked, dual Western Digital 320 gb SATA-2 hddl My problem is that when I power up, the POST starts, but when I go into CMOS setup and change anything (like the date/time) and try to save, my screen goes black and nothing else happens. I can't reset or turn off with the power switch. I have to turn off the PSU, then use the "clear CMOS" jumper to boot up again. I thought maybe I'd connected something wrong, so I tore it down and re-did everything, but no good. I also tried using just one video card at a time; likewise one stick of ram at a time, but the problem persists. Any thoughts?

Is the motherboard in or out of the case right now?

What motherboard are you using?

Try the system with just 1 stick of RAM installed for now.

Give this a try. Definately use only the base components to get it to post. You can add the rest after you varify that the base works.

Cricket, I'm using an eVga nVidia 680i SLI motherboard, currently in the case. I'll try booting with it outside the case; maybe that's the problem. Thanks for the help!

That PSU you listed(Inland) is not certified for use to run 8800GTS in Sli. Haven't heard of Inland brand of PSUs, so don't know if they are good, bad, or just plain junk.
