Having trouble with upgraded system

hello just installed a bunch of new parts to my computer, and when i turn it on. I get the green light on the motherboard, and all the fans turn on. but my moniter doesnt turn on or anything.

not sure what i did wrong or whats going on.

New parts are EVGA 512-P2-N447-LX GeForce 7300GT 512MB 128-bit GDDR2 PCI Express x16 SLI Supported Video Card
ASUS M2A-VM AM2 AMD 690G Micro ATX AMD Motherboard -
AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ Brisbane 2.6GHz Socket AM2 65W Black Edition Processor Model ADO5000DSWOF -
CORSAIR XMS2 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model TWIN2X2048-6400 -
Maxtor 160g sata hard drive.
maxcooler heatsink and fan.

old parts is a 420w atx power supply
dvd/cdrom drive
floppy drive

i get green lights on the front of the rom drive but wont open when i hit eject button

another thing my power supply only has the 20 pin cable, and no 4 pin atx12v
which the new mother board has a 24 pin insert and a 4 pin atx12v insert
just wondering if that might cause a problem

when i turn the power on another thing i notice is that my keyboard or mouse dont light up.

Please help

Wait. Your PSU only has the 20 pin, and a 4 pin for the processor, but your MB needs a 24 and 4 pin.

That is most likely a problem. I would get a new PSU.

Your computer isn't booting up because of this...

You need the proper power supply...you need a new ATX 2.0 or higher power supply with the appropriate wattage.

would Antec Basiq 350W Power Supply

* 350W
* Dual +12V outputs provide maximum stable power for the CPU independently of the other peripherals
* ATX12V Version 2.01

work
