Smoke test complete

Smoke test complete and successful thanks to the information by Hal9000
http://forum.pcmech.com/showthread.php?t=132409 which I followed religiously to the point of printing and checking each item off. Thanks.
The biggest pucker factor was installing the stick of ram. Don’t know why. I have installed ram in several PC’s
Just couldn’t seem to get my nerve up to push it down hard enough to lock in .
Have had every thing else ready for a couple of days waiting for the ram to arrive from CA .
The other aggravation was the Corsair620 PSU was making a noise like a rubbing fan . So I’m thinking two weeks to go the RMA route wonder if they would sell me another one and credit me when they got the old one back? Then I realized the PSU was sitting on edge. Set it down flat turned it on. Shorted the power pins and nothing. Start to break it down to swap power supplies and guess what? When I moved it the main power cord which was tucked out of the way had come off Fired up one more time and all systems go. So tomorrow I’ll fumble along with final assembly.
