PC Boots breifly and shuts off Please help!
So, i am sure you guys remember me from the ASUS Crossfire MB thread, again thans for allk the help!
Now, I have all the pieces placed in my Chassi (The Lexa from NZXT) This is my System AMD 64FX 3.0gHz (1) (L) ASUS L1N64-SLI WS Motherboard 2x2gb G Skill DDr2 800 RAM Geforce 8800 GTX Graphics Card OCZ 700W Power Supply 500GB Samsong HDD (7200 RPM) (Sata) Pioneer DVD+R/CD+R Keyboard mouse etc. Lexa from NXZT Chassi So the main problem is that when I turn on my computer, I can see the LED light on my MB and such, but when I go to turn it o n, the Fans begin to spin, the computer begins to run, and then *boom* it shuts off. This happens in a matter of about one second. I have checked my entire MB to make sure it is not grounded any where, and tried starting it out of the case. Any suggestions? Might i have missed a plug in or such? Believe me, I could have done the impossible lol. |

Yes, it is in the PC 0 slot, closest to the sata ports.
EDIT after quite a bit of testing, i found that there was one plug that was optional if usinf dual cards AND SLI enabled. I removed this and the system functions properly. new issue, my screen wont load! Last edited by 3roms; 11-08-2007 at 09:11 PM. |
