Hangs up verifying DMI pool data

New build.
Processor E6750
MB gigabyte GA-P35-DS4 rev 2 http://www.gigabyte-usa.com/Support/...ProductID=2585
Hard Drive Seagate HD 500G|ST 7K 16M SATA2 ST3500630NS OEM
Fires up fine
Set boot to DVD drive Windows started to load, did the F6, and the S thing, loading all kinds of stuff . Hit enter to load windows got to the EULA if you accept press F8 pressed F8 nothing happened,

Shut down restarted

Now Hangs up verifying DMI pool data.
If I shut down, Pull the HD sata cable it boots , starts the windows thing . I sneakily put the sata cable back in the HD windows starts to load but hangs again at accepting the EULA .
I have cleared the CMOS set the BIOS to fail safe tried various s Sata cables and various positions on the MB Memory looks good on start.
Could use some pointers or a slap side of the head

With the mobo you have, shouldn't need to do the F6 thing to install "mass storage devices" which was how SATA drivers used to be loaded. Your board will have SATA native. May need to check SATA settings in the BIOS.

It R fixed. Needed a keyboard so bought a cheap MS type. After fifty million times hanging up at accepting the EULA, noted a key that said F Lock. Hit that sucker and we are gioing to town.
