Heads up - Foxconn TS-1 case at Newegg

I've been using and recommending the Foxconn TS-1 case for years for budget and office builds:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811153042

It is a very good quality case. One of the big reasons I like it is the FSP 300 watt PSU, ATX 2.0 with dual rails (8 amps and 14 amps).

I ordered one this past week for a budget build - onboard video and a E2180 which is a low power consumption CPU. I was VERY disappointed when I popped it open and found a CWT-built "ISO-400" 300 watt PSU with a single 15 amp rail instead of the FSP. "ISO" is a very low end CWT, I'm quite concerned about quality - and I certainly would not use it with either a high power CPU and/or a PCI-E video card. I have used the FSP with both with no issues - but not, obviously, any PCI-E card except a lower end one.

Until they start putting the FSP back in the case, I'm withdrawing my recommendation. Yeah, I know you get what you pay for, 40 bucks for a well made case *with* a PSU is a steal though.

Gotta love this case! And it's with the FSP PSU too...

Too bad it isn't sold in M'sia, or else, my friend is choosing this one instead.

I build a PC for my best and close friend using the E2180, P5K and HD2600XT, gotta admit that it's a cool cheap build.

Maybe I gotta ask those Foxconn distributor in my place. Wow... that deal is a steal!

I don't think I'd try to run a 2600XT with the 300 watt FSP.

As a bare case, it's very decent quality for the money.
