Building a computer fora friend

Yea I need some help on if these parts will work with each other. I am building this for a friend and I want to make sure everything would be in working order

Case: I have an old one for him

PSU: 430 that came with my old case

How much is your friend willing to spend on this computer?

What will this computer be used for most of the time?

What kind of power supply is that? Brand and model. And does it have a 24 pin, 20 + 4 pin or just a 20 pin motherboard power connector? Does it have a square 4 pin 12v power connector too?

1. ECS boards are junk.
2. You can't put an AMD AM2 socket processor into a board that has an Intel 775 socket.
3. DDR2-533 is too slow. You need DDR2-800.
4. That is not a suitable video card for gaming, if this is what the computer will be used for.
5. I have the same power supply concern as Cricket.
6. Samsung drives are not very reliable, Lite-On, LG, or Sony/NEC is a better bet.

2. Sorry, I forgot to say stuff about that PSU, I will post about it when I get home.
