New build....
I think I'm ready to fianlly do it again. I need help putting the best parts together for minimal $$. I want to go with AMD, also want LCD... I am not a big gammer but do play occasionally and do not need blistering speed. what can I get for around 700.00-800.00. Can it be done for say 600.?? I started putting one together at newegg https://secure.newegg.com/NewVersion...asp?ID=8968987 but have added and deleted many time because I not sure whats the best. Thanks for the help.
Ps... My current case would probably work, and Lets also not include that monitor in the price. No onboard video...Thanks to all. Last edited by Toolman35; 11-23-2007 at 08:45 AM. |

You need to make that list public for us to be able to view it. Alternatively, list the parts in a post with links.

Well you still need a power supply and motherboard. For Power supplies look at Antec, Sparkle, Fortron, and PC Power & Cooling. For motherboards: Asus and DFI are good.

Power supply (that case doesn't come with one) ?
Motherboard ? I wouldn't chose the ram until after I'd chosen the motherboard.

ok, not sure what happened to the mobo, I will get it back ...I have a PS it is a Enermax noisetakerII 485W ATX 12v.
The mobo I picked and then deleted was, Open Box: ASUS M2N-E AM2 NVIDIA nForce 570 Ultra MCP ATX AMD Motherboard Model #: M2N-E Item #: N82E16813131022R . Just wanted the best fit for everything. Plus I am not sure about it being a openbox if I really wanted to buy it. I'm open to suggestions... |

I wouldn't get an openbox motherboard - it could have been bought and returned for whatever reason and/or missing key accessories. I'd go for the brand new version of the same board.
