New Build Boot Problems

I am building a PC from scratch and have completed the assembly. The power comes on and the CPU and Video Card fans work but there is no beep or display. I have read through other threads and tried various things like rechecking all of my connections and using a single stick of ram. I think it may be the mobo or the CPU as I have checked the CPU and it doean't even get warm. Here is what I have.

AMD Athlon 64X2 Dual Core
MSI K9N Neo V3 Mother board w/nVidia nForce 560 Chipset
GeForce 8600GT PCI-E Video Card
Crucial 2ea 512 64MX64 DDR2 RAM
Seagate 320GB Serial ATA HD
Sony DRU-170C DVD/CD 18X Drive
Thermaltake TR2-430W Power Supply

I have a limited background and I can't get past where I currently am.

Make sure it's out of the case.

I did take it out of the case. I double and triple checked how it was seated. I check the RAM and Video Card to make sure it was seated properly.

So with the bare minimum (1 stick of ram, video card, processor, psu, and mb) out of the case, you don't get any display or beeps?

Do you have any spare parts that you can start to substitute with?
