Gaming Rig Help

I am building a new rig for gaming. This system is one that should last for atleast 2-3 years without any major upgrades. My budget is around 2500$. Here it is:-

Main System-
Antec 900 Case
Antec TPQ 850 W
Asus Striker Extreme
Intel Q6600
Western Digital Se16 750 GB
OCZ SLI ready memory DDr2 800 1x4gb DIMM
Samsung 20x Cd burner Sata
2x XFX 8800 GT Stock Clock

Peripherals-
Logitech G11
Logitech G5

Os-
Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit edition

Now what I am askin is Will it last for 2-3 years and is there any component tht i could change with a significant price drop and very small drop in performance or one with a small increase in price but a massive increase in performance.

If you're building a gaming rig, you might want to look ath the e6750, or if you want to spend a bit more, the e6850.

@Shadowpr Er, the Intel Q6600 is a quadcore and is more expensive than the e6750 =P

I bought a e6750, I felt that I didn't need to spend the extra 100 for a quad core while the 6750 would suffice.

I know the e6750 is a dual, and the q6600 is a quad. But the faster dual processor would be better for games.

And when I said spend more, i meant from the e6750 to the e6850.

To take full advantage of the video quailty of a Sli set-up would be looking at an LCD in the 24" range. Otherwise you would have to use the lower resolution of smaller monitors.
