Gaming Rig Help
I am building a new rig for gaming. This system is one that should last for atleast 2-3 years without any major upgrades. My budget is around 2500$. Here it is:-
Main System- Antec 900 Case Antec TPQ 850 W Asus Striker Extreme Intel Q6600 Western Digital Se16 750 GB OCZ SLI ready memory DDr2 800 1x4gb DIMM Samsung 20x Cd burner Sata 2x XFX 8800 GT Stock Clock Peripherals- Logitech G11 Logitech G5 Os- Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit edition Now what I am askin is Will it last for 2-3 years and is there any component tht i could change with a significant price drop and very small drop in performance or one with a small increase in price but a massive increase in performance. If you're building a gaming rig, you might want to look ath the e6750, or if you want to spend a bit more, the e6850.

@Shadowpr Er, the Intel Q6600 is a quadcore and is more expensive than the e6750 =P
I bought a e6750, I felt that I didn't need to spend the extra 100 for a quad core while the 6750 would suffice. |

To take full advantage of the video quailty of a Sli set-up would be looking at an LCD in the 24" range. Otherwise you would have to use the lower resolution of smaller monitors.
