Revised build

http://secure.newegg.com/NewVersion/...Number=7232406

Comments Suggestions?

I guess the new GTS is coming out in a week or so. So I may revise that... and I have heard the cooling on that GT is nothing great. Some people have seen temps upwards of 95C under load...

I'd change the RAM to Corsair.

If you want to be able to use all 4GB of RAM you need a 64 bit operating system. 32 bit Windows will only "see" about 3.2GB.

How come you would change the ram to Corsair? I heard that GSkill was good stuff.

If I were to go with a 64-bit OS. Would you recommend 2x2 GB or 4x1 GB sticks. I heard 2x2 was faster.

Corsair just has a very good reputation of quality. GSkill can be ok too. Go with 2x2GB.

Those timings are a little loose at 5-5-5-18 at 1.8v.

Current Intel chipsets seem to prefer CAS latencies of 5...when CAS4 RAM is used the computer becomes unstable with lots of problems.

Looks fine to me. Don't forget the RAM limitation with 32bit Windows.

Do you have a case already?
