Quick 2 questions

Howdy boys

Question 1: Need to reformat my pc, been a while since i done that, how do i do that again, is it through bios at start, wanna scrub everything and start again

Question 2: Is there a standard bios setup? My friend has mucked around a bit with mine trying to get pc video card fixed, but im gonna do fresh reinstall of window, as above question and try again, just though if standard bios setup would be good to start with that again to

Go into the BIOS and set the optical drive as the first boot device. Put the OS CD in the drive and exit the BIOS. The computer will reboot to the OS CD. Follow the on-screen instructions and choose the option to do a fresh install.

You can set the BIOS to default if it has that option in the menu screens. If not, with the computer unplugged from the wall outlet remove the motherboard battery for about 15 minutes. This will clear the CMOS and you'll start with a "clean" BIOS (no custom options selected).
