PC Works fine no power from power LED

I have a new build using mostly old parts:

New Asus M2R32-MVP
wd hdd 200 GB
Ultra X3 800W pSu
Zogis 8400 GS
AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ CPU
Parts are all good as I have changed out PSU and the rest would not have things working if they didn't work, or at least that is my thinking.

System powers up and runs fine, but no power from LED on motherboard. At first I took a day to get system running with Vista home promium due to slow loading, finally got it running and everything installed. The thing works fine, I am typing with it now.

But yesterday evening the power LED was blinking for awhile, about an hour and then when I rebooted for an install of a program it stopped altogether. I have tried a different led and it does not come on at all either. I tested power supply and it shows good voltages as far as an Apevia PSU tester shows.

Any suggestions.

Thanks

Something like that can't be fixed unless you replace the motherboard. The power circuit on the motherboard for the LED(s) is no good.

Will this effect the rest of the mobo?

I noticed soemthing when I powered down using the power down button on the start menu and not the pull down menu shut off choice, the case power led started to flash on and off until it powered down.

Thanks for the help, again.

On the other Motherboard, ECS KA3-MVP, you were helping me with the other day I am working at getting it RMA'd as it is just under a year old.
