Restore/Reformat CD for Built computer
Is there a way to make a reboot disc for a home built system? Or do I just use the OS disc?

Why do you want to do a restore or format and reinstall?

You could "clone" your current hard drive with a program like Norton Ghost or Acronis True Image. If the OS gets hosed and you need to redo the partition, you just restore the "cloned" image back to the partition.
Here's more info about cloning a hard drive. The article deals with a laptop HDD but the theory is the same for a desktop HDD. Cricket

That is a good idea and making an image of your OS installation (a clone) as Cricket suggested is the best thing to do.
