Another new/first build
I'm looking to build a PC to replace my very outdated current one. It'll primarily be used for work stuff (MS office, Internet and the typical light duty things) but I'd also like to be able to play the newest games on it. The list below is at the upper end of my budget, so hopefully I haven't left anything out.
I've looked through a bunch of posting and tried to use them as a guide in assembling this list. My biggest question concern is the OS and I know the 32 vs 64 bit version of Vista is a big debate. I'm leaning towards the 32 bit version and I guess I can always get some more RAM and upgrade to the 64 bit version on the future if I need to. Any help is greatly appreciated. Looks good. Only thing you want to change is that you want the sata version of the hard drive.
I think they have a 500gb 7200.11 veriosn now. I would get that one for a few bucks more.

I found a Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 SATA I'll with instead.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822148288 Is there much added benefit of going with a Core 2 Quad Q6600 instead of the Core 2 Duo E6750? Or is it really just a waste of $90. |

All depends on what you wanna do. Gaming rig? Don't bother. Dual core boxes will still do a magnificent job.
Nice list...no real changes needed.
