ATX SW trouble

Hi,

i recently aquired a Intel DG33TL motherboard with a q6600. I replaced my current motherboard with it but it seems as if i cannot get the power for the front switch to work. The LED for the HD works if i attach the front LED to it, but the slot for on/off power doesnt seem to do anything for the ATX SW cable. I do get a green light on the motherboard when i turn my power supply on. I have already browsed some older topics but was unable to find anything i have not tried yet...

Have you tried shorting the ATX-SW pins with a screwdriver or similar?
