Fan Placement on new computer.
Hey I just go all new parts for my new PC and was wondering on where I should position my fans for best air flow.

Oh and please tell me if they should be intake and exaust

Basic rule of thumb is front intake, rear exhaust. Nice setup you have but I think 7 fans is going to be overkill. I'd go with one in front, one in back and one in side (exhaust). Check your temps and go from there.

Why did you buy 4 additional fans? Looks like you can only add 1 additional fan to that case since the other 3 are already mounted. Looks like you'll have 3 fans left over.
Anyway, typical cooling is set up with lower front fan set as intake, upper rear fan set as exhaust. Side fans are generally intake fans. Cricket
