CRASH New Quadcore build runs slow and inconsistent.

Hey everyone. I just finished building a new gaming machine and I have run into a rather serious problem... its slow. Very slow. My old NF4 based DDR board with an Athlon64 x2 is beating it hands down in framerates. Here's the system specs and components. I have not attempted any OC'ing yet and all of my temperatures are hovering at room temperature and sometimes even below if thats possible.

Mobo: Gigabyte GA-P35-DS4
CPU: Q6600 Quadcore
Cooler: Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro
RAM: Corsair Dominator DDR2-1066
HDD: Seagate 7200.10 SATA 250GB
VC: NVidia Geforce 8800GT 512mb
PSU: Fortron Source Everest 800W modular

My issue with it being slow comes up when I use this system for the very thing that it was built for... gaming. I fire up Crysis and put everything on medium and its such a chop fest you would think its a kung fu movie. I use the same settings on my old system that is running a 8800GTS and the FPS hovers in the range of 25-30. In addition to the lack of power, the options under anti-aliasing for anything above 8x are non-existent. On my older machine it offers all the way up to 16xQ. Only 2, 4, and 8 are available on the new build. Im thinking it MAY be an issue with the videocard and DX10 because The Witcher and older DX9 games (such as Dawn of War and Counter Strike Source) run absolutely perfect. Anyone having similar issues or maybe an idea of what may be wrong? I'd greatly appreciate your input.

I solved my own issue... but I don't exactly know how it worked. I took out the 8800GTS out of my older computer and put it in the new one. It ran perfect! So then i figured that somehow, just somehow, the GT card was faulty. I put my GTS back in my old machine and the GT back in the new machine. I fired up Crysis and it WORKED. It ran on high settings with very high textures. I don't know what was wrong (maybe it wasnt plugged in all the way the first time around) but somehow its fixed.
