Help me get my build to work
I've been working the entire day at my computer and it didn't run so I tried the thread http://forum.pcmech.com/showthread.php?t=132409 but that is not working. I want to run the computer already. Everything is seated perfectly. The power supply is in, both the 24-pin and the 4-pin, and the RAM, CPU and Video Card are all fully seated. But when I connect the PWR and Ground pins together with a screwdriver, absolutely nothing whatsoever happens. OMFG.

Wait, I just got it. Everything was fine except the PSU was not plugged in properly. The green light next to the power pins was lit up. So I connected the two pins with a screwdriver, and a really loud whining squeeling sound came, the fan began to run, and in fear I let go and turned offf the PSU. What was this?

Check the fans, may have a cable too close to a fan blade.
