Couple things. You might want to go with a motherboard that has a newer chipset so you can upgrade down the road more easily. Check out the Asus P5KPL-VM.
You can use the Apevia case if you like it but the power supply would need replacing. They are junkers. I'd suggest an Antec case, they will come with high quality power supplies. Swap that optical drive for a SATA version. Might want to get a DVDRW instead.

Beat me to it
![]() Same thing. Also, if you do plan on storing music and photos on this box, HDDs are crazy cheap. You can probably find a Seagate 250 gig for not much more than the one you have selected.

I would also take a look at a different processor, if you are sticking with Celeron processors, go for either the Cedar Mill Celeron D or the Conroe based Celeron L. Both of these are made at 65nm, are faster than the Prescott Celeron D, run cooler and are at about the same price. Here are the links to the Celeron Processors:

Here are the links to the Athlon X2 and a compatible motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103774 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813130092 |
