Screw it

Hello to everyone... looks like you have an excellent community going here!

I'm hoping you might be able to help me with something (with a bit of luck just tell me that I'm being an idiot).

I bought the following (all from e-buyer):

8800gt
q6600 cpu
Asus P5KC mobo
Cooler Master 690 case
and the rest of the necessary junk required to build a PC...

or so I thought

It turns out that neither my case nor my motherboard came with screws for attaching the motherboard to the case! The case came with seperators, but I have no screws to attach the mobo.

Now I'm not usually impatient but I am working VERY hard at the moment and I kind of need the PC yesterday. If I don't get the thing built today or tomorrow it will probably be a few weeks or even a month before I will have time again.

So does anyone know of something I'm missing? Should I have been supplied screws? If not, does anyone know the specification for the necessary screws so I can get out to hardware store and pick some up?

Thanks in advance!

Can nott give you specs but the simplest solution would be to head on down to local PC mega store store and pick up screws there

Red face

Oh god... I've just realised that I was being an idiot all along! I'm just so used to getting a bag full of screws that I totally didn't expect them to be where they were!

For anyone buying this case the screws are screwed into special screw holders along the side of the drive bays! It's pretty obvious from the manual once you know where they are, but if you don't know it's not nearly so obvious.

Sorry to waste your time
