Sotata III front panelconnector questions.
Over the past while I've been accumulating parts for a build for a family member and running across some connectivity issues concerning the motherboard and an Antec Sonata III front panel cabling.
Motherboard is an ECS PT890T-A. Purchased it in a combo(a long time ago) and going to use it up! Questions: 1. HDA cable hooks up to a generic audio1 header just fine? 2. Case speaker cable has a 4 gang mini pin connector with orange/black wire separated by two open. Orange is designated KSP. Does this correspond with pin1/VCC or pin4/Signal? (No key on connector and don't want to do trial and error.) 3. Power LED cable is in a three gang connector with center open. The available MB header has only the normal two pin available. Is it a big deal to swap these pin wires around in connector? Well guys...all 101 stuff. (But never have had to deal with these issues in the few builds I've done.) This little build is going to be a pretty decent "econo-build".( Dual core (820 D),1gig Corsair VS, Antec Earthwatts 380, 6200 OC Chaintech card and a LG DVD burner with XP Pro.) Thanks Much! |
