*** from what i can understand, DDR3 is not supported by phenom cpus right?
altho gf9 is not out on the market yet, what mobo would be the best suited in the eventuallity that i would like to SLI another gf9
i also plan on using this computer with my HD monitor (226bw syncmaster samsung nativ res 1680 x 1050) and also watch TV (with TV TUNER)
any advice?

Well, since you are talking about stuff not on the market yet, I would think a MB based around the new Nividia 780i chipset would be the best bet. Or the 750i, have not read enough to understand all the differences, but I think the 750 is for sli x2 and the 780 is sli x 3 (3 cards). As for power supply I would check out this site cause I have no idea what 2-3 GF9s would require, probably in the neighborhood of 1000 w but maybe they have made them more power efficient.

As for ddr 3 there is little performance advantage at this time unless you are into very massive over clocking, at which point the faster speed might give some advantage. They need to really up the speed on newer CPUs befor the average person will see much advantage from ddr3. It is also VERY expensive.

yes, as i can see, the current best processors on the market atm are simply not strong enough FSB wise and can't support those kindo RAMs

i chekced those mobo you told me and they re intel mobos.... 780i , i means intel so i would prolly need 780a for amd, but it is not out yet
i dont know much about mobo but is nvidia the best company for those? and is there a way to know if the current mobos are gonna support gf9s?

For a higher end gaming system, intel processors will work a decent amount better than an amd one, so you should look into getting an intel processor/motherboard.
