First time build-advice.
I'm looking to build for the first time and I've got a pretty clear picture of what I want. I just need a little direction on hardware. I'd like to keep the budget around $1000-$1500.
I really just want to build an all around decent machine fo HDr gaming. I plan to use it for all types of things though. Digital photos, music and video streaming, things like that. I just want it to be well equipped to run the latest games into 2008 at decent settings. I know what hardware I need. Now i need direction as to what brands and models to buy. At least a 250GB HDD..probably more. I can use the space. A good quality graphics card.HD capable. HD capable sound card. A CPU to handle high def gaming. 2GB? 4GB? Excatly how much RAM would be ideal for a decent gaming experience. I love HD A monitor, mobo, and case that can handle it. LAN and some decent optical drives...blu-ray is my favorite. I'm trying to get medium-good quality HD gaming from this rig. If thats too much for m budget, it can be omitted.I'm not sure of the price of blu-ray drives. I still want to do some gaming on it though. Any help? I have the checklist for everything to keep track. |
