New Build- Powers up but No Video Out!!
Hello all. I recently built a new computer which seems to be running fine except when I power it up there is no video out. Otherwise, all fans power up (including the one on the video card). Hard drive, power lights, everything else fine. No beeps at all. I already tried removing some RAM as I read that could be a problem to no avail (I have four 1 GB chips installed over two channels). Below is my configuration, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Nick

Having problems with a new build? Try this. You must remove the motherboard from the case when doing this. You're trying to determine if the motherboard is shorting out to the case or not. The most common cause is a stray standoff that doesn't line up to any of the mounting holes on the motherboard (holes with the metals rings) and is touching the underside of the motherboard causing a short.
