New Builder (EVGA 8600GT w/ M2N32 SLI Wireless Deluxe - ASUS)
First build, everything powers up, no signal to monitor. Is there a default output prior to loading drivers for graphics card. I have mine plugged into the S-vid. Also, all fans work, but computer shut itself off after 20 seconds. Have a 64 X2 6000+ socket AM2. Could it have overheated? Has the AMD fan/heat sink. What should I do next?

I'll try that tonight, thank you. Also, someone said something about updating the BIOS for the board, how would you do that for the CPU if you can't see anything.
