Need help building a really good gaming comp
Any part recommendations i want to be able to play almost any game available for $3500 - $4000
i'd prefer to not go over $4000 as id like to save as much as possible. Thanks in Advance, McDoogan. |

Can't go wrong with either an Intel E8500 or QX9650 for the CPU. Go for a high-end motherboard like the Asus Maximus Extreme and some sticks of quality DDR3. Grab a couple 8800 Ultras for SLI (or wait for the next-gen geforce 9xxx series or ati hd3870x2 for crossfire, but that could be awhile). A Seagate 7200.11 would be fine for a HD (or you could go nuts with western digital raptor-x's like everyone else). If you do something crazy like this, make sure you have a well-built (good air flow) and ventilated case. Or you could go the water-cooling route.
Just my 2c as I fall asleep at the keyboard...
