First Biuld: Any Input Helpful

Hi everyone, I'm biulding my first PC, and I'm just looking for a little input. Attached is the list of items and newegg item #s. All I really want to know is that everything is compatable, and does this look like a good way to spend $1,300?

Don’t know much about AMD so will leave that for others.

Get rid of the Roswell PSU. It is not a quality brand, chose one from this post.

Never heard of Wintex memory, I would suggest going for Corsair or another name brand. If you really need 4 GB then get 2 x 2 GB sticks. Corsair XMS 800 is recommended but there are other good quality name brands available also.

Use the stock heatsink that comes with the CPU. You only need aftermarket cooler if you planning on OCing the system. If you are going to OC then I think you would be better off with something like a Zellman (sp) I have not seen much support for Gigabyte aftermarket coolers.

Rest of the stuff look OK, but as I first posted wait for someone who knows something about AMD to post

Kat
